Building a Sustainable Future Since 2012

Short Creek Construction began with a simple observation: too much valuable material was ending up in landfills when it could be recycled and returned to the manufacturing supply chain. What started as a small family operation in Galena, Kansas has grown into one of the region's most trusted recycling partners.

Our founder, Robert Woodsmall, saw an opportunity to create a business that would be both profitable and environmentally responsible. He invested in state-of-the-art processing equipment and built relationships with local manufacturers who needed a reliable source of recycled materials.

Today, we process over 1,000 tons of recyclable materials annually, serving hundreds of businesses across Kansas and the surrounding states. But our mission remains the same: to make recycling easy, profitable, and accessible for businesses of all sizes.
